Clubs & Activity Highlights at TRIS
At TRIS, co-curricular clubs play a vital role in shaping well-rounded individuals. Each club is a platform for students to explore their interests, enhance skills, and express themselves creatively.
Nature Club – Nurturing a Green Mindset

The Nature Club at TRIS is passionately committed to raising awareness about environmental issues among students. It encourages proactive steps toward sustainable development and environmental conservation. Members actively engage in beautifying the school campus, promoting eco-friendly practices and embracing green initiatives that contribute to a cleaner and greener world.

Math Club – Discover the Magic of Numbers

The Math Club meets weekly to explore the fascinating world of numbers and patterns. By starting with simple concepts and gradually unfolding their complexities, students develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of mathematics. The club aims to present math as a dynamic, creative subject, revealing the interconnected ideas that shape our understanding of space, number and logic.
Literary Club – Voices Through Words (Tamil & English)

With the belief that “reading maketh a full man, and writing an exact man,” the Literary Club welcomes all students passionate about creative writing and storytelling. Members explore poetry, essays, short stories, and articles in English and Tamil, with select works featured in the school newsletter “Coffee with TRISians.” Creative writing in other languages, such as French and Hindi, is also encouraged. ASL (Assessment of Speaking and Listening) is integrated from lower classes to improve communication skills.

Quiz Club – Where Curiosity Meets Knowledge

The Quiz Club is a hub for inquisitive minds who love challenges and mental stimulation. Club members organise quiz programs and foster competitive quiz teams that represent the school at various inter-school competitions. It sharpens students’ general knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Culinary Club – A Taste of Creativity

The Culinary Club introduces students to the fundamentals of cooking, offering hands-on experience with various culinary techniques and styles. Whether aspiring to be a professional chef or simply learning to prepare tasty meals, this club offers a fun and educational experience. It celebrates the joy of cooking while teaching important life skills.

Work Education – Learning Through Doing

Work Education is an integral part of the TRIS curriculum that promotes practical learning through meaningful manual work. Activities include creating useful goods and services such as recycled crafts, doll making, embroidery, paper art, clay modelling, knitting, and fabric painting. These tasks instill creativity, responsibility, and a sense of community service while providing joy through self-expression.
